The Trevor Project

The Trevor Project is a national nonprofit organization focused on suicide prevention and crisis intervention for LGBTQ+ (lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, and questioning) young people under the age of 25.

Family Acceptance Project

The Family Acceptance Project® (FAP) is a research, intervention, education, and policy initiative founded in 2002 at San Francisco State University by Dr. Caitlin Ryan and Dr. Rafael Díaz. It is the first and only initiative of its kind to study how family and caregiver reactions affect the health, mental health, and social well-being of LGBTQ+ children and youth.
