Community Classroom: A Library’s Place in Advocacy, Social Justice, and Ethics

  • Troy Public Library-Lansingburgh Branch 27 114th Street Troy, NY, 12182 United States (map)

Collar City Pride presents its next community classroom in August!

Join Sam Berry-Sullivan (they/them), Health Sciences Librarian at Utica University, for a compelling exploration of how libraries can serve as powerful spaces for advocacy, inclusion, and social change. Through a semi-personal narrative, Sam discusses the intersections of queerness, neurodivergence, and librarianship—drawing from research and lived experience to highlight the ethical role libraries play in supporting diverse identities and fostering equity.

Free and open to all!
